The “Just As We Are” Project would like to extended our deepest sympathy to the passing of one of our candidates CHARLES HAROLD ALLEN III as he succumbed to his battle with cancer.  Chuck, as he was affectionately known by his friends, was the former State Senator in Connecticut.  He was actively involved with the NAACP as a member of the Board of Directors.  Chuck leaves behind his partner of of five years Todd Roulette, his mother Mrs. Norma Jenkins, a sister and two brothers, and host of nieces and nephews.
